Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package egg noodles
- ½ cup margarine
- 1 ½ cups applesauce
- 1 cup white sugar
- 4 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ground cinnamon, for dusting
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rapid boil. Cook egg noodles at a boil until slightly firm to the bite, about 5 minutes. Drain well.
- Place noodles in a large bowl; stir in margarine until melted. Stir in applesauce, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract; transfer to a 9×13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover the pan with aluminum foil.
