Caramelized Bananas

I am not typically a fan of anything banana, but these caramelized bananas make a fabulous topping for oatmeal, ice cream, French toast, waffles, and more.

Ingredients

  • 4 bananas, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps

  1. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Add sliced bananas and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Cook until golden brown and caramelized, stirring often, about 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
